I also found another article about sexual harassment in Egypt. The
article was called Date me or lose your job! It was about a women that was being harassed by her boss at the end it said that she learned to put up with his harassment and twisted games. An activist working said that the main reason women don't say anything is because they don't want to damage their reputations. Women need to feel that they can speak up and there needs to be someone ready to listen. No one should put up with harassment because they are afraid of what will happen if they tell someone.

Oh my goodness, as soon as I read the title of this article I was instantly furious. The fact that this even happens is just ridiculous. Her supervisor is way out of line, completely unprofessional, and a pig. How does he think treating her in this way is at all acceptable? Go on a date with him or resign?! This woman should have been protected from the very beginning with the inappropriate phone calls before such an ultimatum was put on the table. This extreme example of sexual harassment in the work place just proves how sexism plays a role in every part of women's lives. It seems that no place is safe from harassment.
I've read stories like this. It is sick. Harassment exists everywhere, even the work place. Reading this article made me so mad though. It puts this women in such a bad position and either decision she makes she knows she's going to have to deal with some type of harassment. Sexism plays a huge role in many different aspects of women's lives.
Whatever happened to a man trying to 'woo' a woman or 'court' her, as they said in my grandparents' days? This man sounds lazy and egotistical giving her the option of dating him or quitting her job. If he really wants her that badly he should work to gain her trust and her respect. I think also many women are hesitant to report sexual harassment for fear that they will not be taken seriously.
